A message to all the low-life filth that comes from different places to Toronto for Caribana: "Eat sh*t and die". I have been busy checking out these Caribana festivities for the last couple of days. Even though it makes for a colorful and a flamboyant atmosphere; It is too close for my comfort, too much resemblence to gay pride parades. I also want to highlight the depths of self-respect mutilation humans will go to win the King and Queen awards. What is up with cake modelled feather hats? You can make a 12-ft boat out of each one of them. Caribana also brings a lot of R&B, hip-hop to the city, which is a good thing. However, some rap is just so god-awful, it takes your breath away(literally, you start choking). It reminds me of the reprehensible damage my ear takes when listening to trance. Not everything is bad ofcourse, this is CARIBANA. Women, lots of them (except few) are just gorgeous. The clothing on them must have set new world records for the "least cloth used to cover up a human body in public" category. No complaints there. drool.

The night scene is a whole another level of disgust. If any club doesn't have atleast 5 middle aged perverts at one corner or if any woman is below 150 lbs, watch out there is something really wrong with it. The women in the club i went to, were fucking huge!! They really are "too fat to be true". Also, was it just me or did everyone smelled like they were wearing weed colon? The only enlighting act was the grinding on the dance floor. The girls are just literally bent over and pummelled through the glass boundary (not by me ofcourse, i am a gentleman :D). Oh and the constant shout-outs to Philadelphia, New York, Detroit and all of east coast every two minutes din't get annoying at all. Although all the clubs were packed, it doesn't make for a very exciting experience when there is a guy backing up into you everytime you turn around. That pretty much sums up my first Caribana experience. For the next one though, i will be cautious in my preparation and will make sure to become a weed smoking bum just to fit in with the crowd.
